21st Century Educational Leadership Reflection
This class allowed me to think about my leadership role in my building and challenged me to view things from the eyes of an administrator. By designing activities from the perspective of being a principal it provided a whole different perspective on education that I did not have before. I was able to dive deep into the hiring process, designing professional development, and even constructing a faculty meetings. All these activities gave me a much better understanding of what building leadership looks like from the administrative perspective. Throughout this class I also designed a Capstone project based upon implementing a Genius Hour into my building. I am so excited to bring what I learned and designed into my classroom this year! This was my final class in the USF Technology Cohort and I am grateful for all the knowledge that I have gained but also thankful for the great professional relationships that I have been able to build with my fellow classmates.
